Tibetan Wool

Reared at an altitude of up to 17,000 feet above sea level, Tibetan highland sheep produce a characteristic thick fleece that has long staple, high tensile strength and is rich in lanolin.

The high lanolin content gives a silky sheen and keeps the wool soft and supple, it also acts as an anti-staining agent.

Rugs made of this wool mellow beautifully and last for generations.
